Wind - Lidar

NRGSystems - Model ZX TM - Nacelle-mounted Lidar

ZX TM is a nacelle-mounted Lidar that uses continuous wave technology to measure the full shear and veer wind profile of a wind turbine.

NRG Systems - Model ZX 300 - Wind Lidar

The ZX 300 Wind Lidar is a sophisticated remote sensing device endorsed with full IEC classification and recognized for finance-grade data collection by DNV. Engineered for comprehensive wind measurement applications, the ZX 300 captures high-precision, real-time wind data from altitudes ranging from 10 to 300 meters, making it indispensable for onshore wind resource assessments. This lidar is designed for straightforward deployment, equipped with an intuitive user interface for effortless operation. The system is safeguarded by a five-year warranty, includes technical assistance from NRG, and integrates seamlessly with remote power solutions for streamlined installation worldwide. Additionally, the ZX 300 supports data accessibility via the NRG Cloud platform, offering users unified data management capabilities. For offshore applications, its counterpart, the ZX 300M, provides robust near-shore measurements, also fulfilling stringent industry classifications.

Solar - Data Loggers

NRG Systems - Model LOGR | Met - Data Logger

The LOGR | Met Data Logger represents a cutting-edge advancement in solar and wind resource measurement, engineered to meet the rigorous demands of the renewable energy sector. This data logger is specifically designed for optimal performance in both pre-construction and post-construction phases of project development. By leveraging NRG`s extensive experience in data logger design and manufacturing, the LOGR | Met offers ease of use, security, and reliable data collection under extreme environmental conditions. This device facilitates solar resource assessment by collecting and storing data from meteorological sensors, allowing for both manual retrieval and automated delivery. It is highly configurable and robust enough for worldwide deployment, making it an ideal choice for utility-scale photovoltaic plants.

Bat Deterrent Systems

NRGSystem - Bat Deterrent Systems

Our Bat Deterrent System uses ultrasound to discourage bats from entering a turbine’s rotor swept area. The deterrent system emits an ultrasonic acoustic field in the same range as bats’ natural calling frequencies. This interferes with their ability to receive and interpret their own echolocation calls and creates a disorienting airspace that is difficult to navigate. By jamming their echolocation systems in such a way, bats are discouraged from entering the treated airspaces and roosting locations.
