The NCP12400 is a new fixed−frequency current−mode controller featuring the Dynamic Self−Supply. This function greatly simplifies the design of the auxiliary supply and the VCC capacitor by activating the internal startup current source to supply the controller during start−up, transients, latch, stand−by etc. This device contains a special HV detector which detects the application unplug from the ac input line and triggers the X2 discharge current.

The NCV6500 is a power management controller designed for wireless battery charging transmitter. It provides the essential building blocks for an inductive based transmitter design which is fully compliant with standards like WPC-Qi or Airfuel-MI. The NCV6500 includes local supply generation, full NMOS H-bridge drivers, on chip clock generation including phase shifting and duty cycle control, demodulation detectors and protection circuitry. In combination with a microcontroller a cost effective medium power transmitter can be built.

The FFG1040 fuel gauge is a very accurate SOC reporting gauge designed to be used with cell phones, tablets and other portable devices. It uses a proprietary algorithm that tracks the battery to accurately report the Relative State-of-Charge (RSOC). The FFG1040 also reports User State-of-Charge (USOC), which is an adjusted RSOC value that is designed to be intuitive to the end user. The FFG1040 works with 1sXp (multiple parallel) battery configurations.

The CAT3200 and CAT3200-5 are switched capacitor charge pump boost converters that deliver a low noise, regulated output voltage. The CAT3200-5 gives a fixed regulated 5.0 V output. The CAT3200 has an adjustable output using external resistors. The constant frequency 2.0 MHz charge pump allows small 1.0 µF ceramic capacitors to be used.

The FAN7346 is an LED current-balance controller that controls 4-LED arrays to maintain equal LED current. The FAN7346 has a high withstanding voltage, so is suitable for edge-type LED BLU and LED Lighting. To minimize components between primary to secondary, the FAN7346 generates a new integrated feedback signal. The FAN7346 provides various protections, such as over-voltage regulation, open-LED protection, thermal protection, and drain-source voltage protection of regulating switch (the FAN7346 monitors all LED arrays drain-source voltage for protection). To increase system reliability, FAN7346 applies individual string protection. Because FAN7346 integrates so many functions it reduces overall BOM costs. LED brightness can be linearly varied up to LED current by applying an external Pulse Width Modulated (PWM) signal to the PWM pin. The FAN7346 is available in a 28-SOIC package.

The FAN7387 is a simple control IC for common half- bridge inverters, SMPS, and ballast for fluorescent and HID lamps. The FAN7387 has an oscillating circuit using an external resistor and capacitor.  The frequency variation is very stable across a wide temperature range. The FAN7387 has an external pin for dead time control and shutdown. Using this resistor, the designer can choose the optimum dead time to reduce power loss on switching devices, such as transistors and MOSFETs.
