Kipp & Zonen - Sun Tracker

RaZON+ is an all-in-one system that accurately measures both direct normal irradiance (DNI) and diffuse horizontal irradiance (DHI) from the sun and sky, enabling it to provide very reliable values of global horizontal solar irradiance (GHI) and sunshine duration. The integrated data logger presents the irradiance measurements in W/m2, sunshine duration in hours and energy in kilowatt hours/m2. With the Wi-Fi connection you can easily set-up and configure RaZON+ using any smart device, such as a tablet.

Kipp & Zonen - Class A Pyranometer

The new SMP12 is industry's first fast response spectrally flat Class A pyranometer that combines solid-state dome heating, with no moving parts, and best-in-class surge protection to maximize accuracy and minimize maintenance. The SMP12 combines proven sensor and diffuser technology from the RaZON+ PH1 and PR1 radiometers with an enhanced version of the Smart interface and the low maintenance of the SMP10. The SMP12 has an internal drying cartridge that will last for at least 10 years if the housing is not opened. This further reduces maintenance significantly. Products' highlights: - ISO 9060 spectrally flat fast response Class A and IEC 61724-1 Class A monitoring - Industry-first Class A integrated dome heating with no moving parts preventing dew & frost - Enhanced surge protection & remote tilt angle and internal humidity monitoring RS-485 Modbus® communication - 5-year warranty

Kipp & Zonen - Pyranometer

The CMP3 pyranometer is an instrument for measuring the solar irradiance. The thermopile sensor construction measures the solar energy that is received from the total solar spectrum and the whole hemisphere (180 degrees field of view). The output is expressed in Watts per meter square. The CMP3 pyranometer is designed for continuous indoor and outdoor use. The CMP3 pyranometer (ISO 9060:2018 Spectrally Flat Class C) is intended for shortwave global solar radiation measurements in the spectral range from 300 to 2800 nm. The CMP3 pyranometer features a snap-on white sun shield, integrated leveling and a weatherproof connector which is supplied pre-wired with 10 m of signal cable for simple installation.

Kipp & Zonen - Pyranometer

The CMP6 pyranometer is intended for routine global solar radiation measurement research on a plane/level surface. Fully compliant with ISO 9060:2018 specification for a Spectrally Flat Class B, the CMP6 features a sixty-four thermocouple junction (series connected) sensing element. The sensing element is coated with a highly stable carbon based non-organic coating, which delivers excellent spectral absorption and long-term stability characteristics. CMP6 has a similar detector to the CMP3 but has improved performance due to the increased thermal mass and the double glass dome construction. It is ideal for cost-effective, good quality measurements in hydrological networks and agriculture.

Kipp & Zonen - Pyranometer

The CMP10 is the Spectrally Flat Class A pyranometer with the best price-quality-performance ratio on the market. Based on the established CMP 11 technology, CMP10 extends this quality to applications where maintenance is difficult and/or forms a major part of the cost of ownership. The CMP10 has an internal drying cartridge that will last for at least 10 years if the housing is not opened. This minimizes maintenance significantly. The interval for dome cleaning can be extended, and the quality of measurements maximized, by fitting CMP10 with the recently launched CVF4 ventilation unit. The Pyranometer does not require any power as it supplies a low voltage of 0 to 20 mV in relation to the amount of incoming radiation. When a higher voltage level or a 4 to 20mA signal is required, the AMPBOX is the perfect solution.

Kipp & Zonen - Pyranometer

The CMP11 is an ISO 9060:2018 Spectrally Flat Class A pyranometer that uses the temperature compensated detector technology originally developed for the CMP22 and is a step up in performance from the CMP6. It is particularly suitable for meteorological networks and the reduced response time of 1.66 seconds (63 %) meets the requirements for solar energy applications. A waterproof socket is fitted for the signature yellow signal cable, which is available in a range of lengths pre-wired to the waterproof plug. The integral bubble level is raised to the top of the housing and can be viewed without removing the redesigned snap-on sun shield, which also covers the connector.

Kipp & Zonen - Pyranometer

The CMP21 is a high performance research grade pyranometer, and is fully compliant with all ISO 9060:2018 Spectrally Flat Class A performance criteria (highest possible ISO pyranometer performance category). The CMP21 pyranometer is designed for measuring the irradiance (radiant flux, Watt/m²) on a plane surface, which results from the direct solar radiation and from the diffuse radiation incident from the hemisphere above. CMP21 has the same detector as the CMP11 and individually optimized temperature compensation. A standard thermistor sensor is fitted to monitor the housing temperature. Each instrument is supplied with its own temperature and directional (cosine response) test data. It is the choice for scientific use and in top level solar radiation monitoring networks such as the BSRN (Baseline Surface Radiation Network) of WMO.

Kipp & Zonen - Pyranometer

The CMP22 is an ISO 9060:2018 Spectrally Flat Class A pyranometer that has all the features of CMP21 but uses very high quality quartz domes for a wider spectral range, improved directional response, and reduced thermal offsets. Because of the high optical quality of these domes the directional error is reduced below 5 W/m². The CMP22 has individually optimized temperature compensation and a standard thermistor sensor is fitted to monitor the housing temperature. Each instrument is supplied with its own temperature and directional (cosine response) test data.
