PEI - Biogas Processing Systems
PEI designs and manufactures Biogas Processing Systems (Compressor Skids, Blower Skids, Chiller Skids) to extract / receive waste gases from landfills, digesters, and other sources. Systems provide maintainable inlet and discharge pressures to satisfy process requirements as well as gas stream moisture removal and temperature conditioning. Systems range from basic waste gas extraction and combustion to multi-pipeline gas-to-energy projects. Perennial Energy classifies Biogas Processing Systems into two categories; Gas Handling Systems and Gas Compression Systems.
PEI - Utility Flare Systems for Biogas Processing
Perennial Energy specializes in the design and manufacturing of biogas processing systems and equipment, focusing on Utility Flare Systems and standalone Utility Flares. These flares feature a turndown ratio of up to 100:1, with an absolute minimum of 10 SCFM, optimized for landfill or digester gas destruction. PEI`s Utility Flares excel in high-efficiency combustion and odor management, meeting or exceeding all current air quality regulations for non-verifiable combustion devices. They allow operators to control fuel gas nozzle and combustion air louvers during use. These flares serve as remediation devices where air quality regulations do not demand in-field verification of emissions or efficiency. Designed in compliance with EPA`s 40 CFR, Section 60.18 standards, PEI Utility Flares offer simple, low-cost installations and can be integrated into complex combustion and control systems, suitable for a variety of applications in air quality management.
PEI - Enclosed Ground Flares
PEI designs and manufactures Enclosed Flare Systems and stand-alone Enclosed Flares (EGF) that meet or exceed most air quality regulatory management agency requirements for maximum by-product of combustion emissions and minimum destruction and reduction efficiencies (DRE). Various burner technologies are incorporated in PEI Enclosed Flares, depending on the specific site emission requirements and type of gases to be combusted. All PEI designed flare systems offer very low noise levels and zero rumble. Specific attention is given to offering the lowest manifold and burner back pressures in the industry. All PEI burner systems feature low carbon stainless steel materials of construction, and our low to medium BTU was gas burners also feature cast refractory, venturi shaped port insets that produce a highly efficient mixing engine for educing up to 60% of the theoretical stoichiometric air requirement as primary air, prior to combustion.
PEI - Shrouded Flares
Earlier this year, Perennial Energy was approached by two clients with similar flare issues in two different industries and from two different regions within the USA. One client was working on a renewable natural gas project on a dairy farm in northern Wisconsin, the other, an abandoned coal mine methane application in the Appalachian Region. In both situations, our clients had to consider a flare that did not emit a visible flame. PEI’s Shrouded Flare design turned out to be the ideal solution for both. In our brochures tab, you will find more details on the shrouded flare design, along with complete list of PEI product literature
