Phoenix Solutions Co. (PSC) products
Plasma Heating Systems
PSC - Process Furnace
The Process Furnace is the vessel in which the plasma torch operates. Our expansive knowledge of plasma heating, combined with the legacy of FluiDyne Engineeing Corp as an industry leader in furnace design, makes us uniquely qualified to design and fabricate custom furnaces.
PSC - Water/Gas Manifold
The Water/Gas Manifold provides a central point to analyze and control the supply of torch cooling water and operating gas. It is custom-designed for each installation and built of high-grade stainless steel. To monitor cooling water and operating gas, PSC relies on top-of-the-line gauges and instruments from Sierra Instruments and Yokogawa.
PSC - Torch Manipulation System
PSC works with every client to custom-design a Torch Manipulation System that meets the specific requirements for each environment and application. The controls for the manipulator are integrated into the HMI, giving operating technicians a single point of control over the entire system.
PSC Plasma Torches
PSC - Plasma Torche
The PT50 is the smallest torch model offered by PSC, operating between 10 kW and 100 kW. They are best suited for R&D and laboratory work.
PSC - Plasma Torche
The PT150 operates between 100 kW and 300 kW. Used most commonly in pilot-scale demonstrations or large R&D projects, the PT150 is powerful enough to handle some industrial applications.
PSC - Plasma Torche
The PT200 operates worldwide processing waste into fuel, manufacturing next-generation nano-particles, producing silicon ingots, and recovering high value-added metals. Operating between 200 kW and 600 kW, the PT200 offers high temperatures without high operating costs.
PSC - Plasma Torche
The PT250, operating between 500 kW and 1,500 kW, is used similarly to the PT200 in applications including waste pyrolysis and metal recovery, but is larger and can provide more heat. It is used in tundish heating, ash melting and low-level nuclear waste processing.
PSC - Plasma Torche
The PT255 is PSC`s largest torch, operating between 1,500 kW and 3,000 kW. The PT255 is used in applications such as tundish heating and the remediation of hazardous wastes.
Other Products
PSC - High Temperature Heaters
Phoenix Solutions has a long history of heating, including Screen and Storage Heaters developed in the 1970`s as FluiDyne Engieering Corp. Phoenix Solutions’ unique Screen Heaters offer rapid change of output temperatures. This dynamic response provides the speed and flexibility necessary for testing or controlled reaction time processing. PSC Electric Resistance Screen Heaters have small footprints, offering savings on installation, surface heat loss and cooling requirements.
