Brushless DC Motors
Brushless DC Motors
Innotec designs and manufactures 72V motors (72V BLDC, 72V PMAC). The 72V motors begin sub 1kW and go up to 60 kW. The motors are used as auxiliary motors and drive motors for mobile equipment and stationary equipment. They can be coupled with Innotec’s controllers to give constant speed or can be dynamically controlled for full traction and drive applications. As our line and offerings of motors are growing, it is best to contact us to find the right solution for your application.

DC Generators
A permanent magnet alternator is the core of a successful, fuel efficient DC generator Drivetrain. There are many advantages of permanent magnet DC generator over the traditional induction alternator. Foremost, the fuel consumption is much lower and the maintenance servicing is spread much further apart. Standout points of comparison are the length, high efficiency, and the simple integration of operation. The new technology is overall superior to the old mechanics of the traditional alternator.
Custom Permanent Magnet Alternators
Over the last 10 years, no other company has designed and produced more custom permanent magnet alternators than Innotec Power. Innotec designs and custom builds permanent magnet alternators for customers who project volume orders within 18 months. The team is capable of designing and prototyping anything from 100 watts to 100 kW. Permanent magnet alternators provide the ideal solution to your application. By matching the power and speed of the generator to that of the prime mover, the power system becomes more efficient. No gearboxes are needed. The efficiency of the alternator exceeds 90%. Innotec serves as a partner for OEMs.
Starter Generators (ISG)
All of Innotec’s generators can be configured as starter generators. These include the engine mounted line of generators, pulley driven line of generators or direct shaft coupled units.
Hybrid Belt Generators
Larger power belt driven generators are more in demand as electrical power requirements increase for industrial mobile equipment. Storing this power in battery banks allows OEMs to offer ancillary electrical equipment or hybridize existing equipment without major design overhauls. Traditionally, belt starter generators have been lower voltage (12 and 24V Belt Generators) and low power (1 to 2 kW Belt Starter Generators). These generators were also meant to be run intermittently for short periods of time under full load conditions.
PTO Battery Chargers - PTO DC Generators
Innotec Power specializes in PTO Generators (IP-PTO Generators) for battery charging applications. These often require custom mechanical fitting and electrical requirements depending on the battery being used. To get on-board charging utilizing a PTO can be the most efficient from a size constraint setting.
BLDC Motors
PM Generators - Brushless DC Motor
The 1 kW BLDC Motor is designed to maximize efficiency and increase battery life of your electric drive train. This unit is built to withstand heavy duty cycle and is frequently run for a contunous 6 hour stretch. The motor is most commonly run with a max rated 40 amp controller with a continuous operation around 27 to 30 amps.
PM Generators - Brushless DC Motor
The 1.5 kW BLDC Motor is designed to maximize efficiency and increase battery life of your electric drive train. This unit is built to withstand heavy duty cycle and is frequently run for a continuous 6 hour stretch. Based on a 48V configuration, the motor is most commonly run with a max rated 50 amp controller with a continuous operation around 33 to 35 amps.
Diesel Generators
PM Generators - Permanent Magnet Generators for Diesel Engines
Conventional DG sets use traditional alternators which are much larger, heavier, noisier and up to 35% less efficient. Using a permanent magnet generator decreases operating expenditures by lowering service time and fuel consumption. The fuel savings in permanent magnet DC Generator sets is at least a 15% with just the change in the alternator. Combined with a smart variable speed DC generator controller, the savings can increase above 45%.
Telecom DC Generators
The telecom sector is one of the largest consumers of energy worldwide. Each BTS site requires continuous power without interruption to serve customers’ mobile telephony needs. This requires for each site to have a back up power supply available in the form of a generator and battery bank. In addition to sites requiring back up power, many sites especially in developing countries lack a grid connection. Therefore, they rely entirely on distributed generation in the forms of a generator and renewable energy.
