PohlCon - Two-Support Photovoltaic Mounting System

The two-support system is a very cost-efficient solution with two vertical columns and additional bracing by a diagonal strut. Instead of one or two solid supports without additional bracing, this system creates a flexurally rigid truss via the diagonal. This has equivalent load-bearing properties while using less material. Furthermore, the bearing forces on the ground are significantly reduced, especially compared with the single-column system - with the advantage of simpler foundation design. The system is also characterized by high stability. The two-support system is therefore preferable to the single-support system if the soil can be rammed into well.

PohlCon - Single-Support Photovoltaic Mounting System

The photovoltaic mounting system consists of only one support and a diagonally running strut and can be used worldwide. As with the other systems, the module type and arrangement can be freely selected. A characteristic feature of the system is the deliberate omission of further supports. The solution is particularly suitable for very hard and stony soils. Since pile-driving is not possible here without further ado, pre-drilling is required. This increases the costs. Although the supports in the single-support system have to be more massive due to the significantly higher bending moments, their number is limited, as are the costs for predrilling and ramming. The single-support system is therefore preferable to the other systems if the substrate is very difficult to pile.

PohlCon - Bifacial Modules for Ground-Mounted Photovoltaic Systems

Bifacial modules additionally use the solar radiation reflected from the ground on the back of the modules. To avoid shading of the rear side of the module by parts of the substructure and thus a loss of yield, our racks run exclusively below the gaps between the modules and thus ensure the greatest possible efficiency. The bifacial modules can be used in all system variants from single-support systems to east-west systems. Thin-film or crystalline modules can also be used. Mounting is done by means of the usual standard fastening. There are no additional costs for our customers when using them.

PohlCon - Three-Support Photovoltaic Mounting System for East-West Orientation

Orienting the modules to the east and west can make economic sense if the following applies to the planned photovoltaic system: North-south oriented systems can shade each other and must therefore be installed with sometimes quite large row spacing. This effect does not occur with an east-west arrangement: The row spacing can be reduced. The installed capacity thus increases significantly. Energy is also to be generated in the morning and evening hours. Especially for self-consumption or activities that are linked to the time of day, the east-west orientation can therefore be advantageous.

PohlCon - Photovoltaic Mounting Systems for Roofs

Incorrectly installed support systems can cause damage to the sensitive roof cladding. The result is moisture damage inside the building as well. In order to optimally protect the roof cladding, the mounting racks we install are always placed on weather-resistant building protection mats. The triangular constructions pre-assembled on the ground can simply be placed on the building protection mats at the statically optimal distance. Special connecting brackets link the profiles together. In the process, the longitudinal beams and the wind bracings installed on the back give the tables the statically calculated strength. In the final step, all modules are mounted directly onto the longitudinal beams using the approved module clamps. The fastening points on the longitudinal beams are either flexibly selectable or already pre-punched.
