Powerhv - Voltage Test Transformer Systems
The AC test transformer are especially designed for testing high voltage products and components, such as cables, power transformers, gas-insulated switchgears, bushings and arresters. It is also suitable to test insulation materials. They are used to generate testing high voltage and function as part of the complete system. These systems are particularly suited for tests requiring stable voltage even if the load changes under voltage (corona, wet & pollution tests) or when the load is inductive (inductive voltage transformers). The AC test transformer can be either in insulation cylinder type with metallic cover and base or metal tank. The insulation cylinder modular test transformers can be stacked to connect in series or parallel to get larger voltage or current to extend its application range.

Powerhv - Heat Cycling System
High current test systems are used to test the thermal stability of equipment and components. The test system induces a current in the test object causing it to heat up. The system can perform the heat cycle testing for power cables type test and pre-qualification test according to IEC 60840, and IEC 62067 etc. Based on pre-qualification test needs, test system is divided into two parts: test sample loop and simulation temperature loop.

DC test systems are used to test components and complete systems found in electrical power supply systems and operating on DC voltage. POWERHV DC voltage test systems fulfill the requirements of IEC 60060-1. The DC voltage test systems can be equipped with polarity reversal.
Measuring System
Powerhv - High Voltage Divider
High-voltage dividers are used to measure voltages and decouple partial discharges in high-voltage test systems. Depending on the specific type, they are used to measure alternating voltage (AC), direct voltage (DC), lightning impulse voltage (LI), and switching impulse voltage (SI) systems. High-voltage dividers by PowerHV comply with the relevant IEC standards 60060, 61083, and 60052. The systems are available for both indoor and outdoor use.
Powerhv - Impulse Current Shunts
The impulse current shunts are designed for impulse current measurements on low inductive test objects. They are primarily used for impulse current measurements on power transformers (IEC 60076-3). Yet they can also be used for impulse current measurements with wave shapes 4/10 µs, 1/20 µs, and 30/80 µs on metal-oxide surge arresters according to IEC 62475. They are available with a rated resistance ranging from 0.1 ohms to 10 ohms and a rated current ranging from 100,000 A to 50 A.
