Installation of high voltage switchgear is a highly specialised activity. Powersystems have the specialist expertise to install switchgear from 415v to 132kV. To date, Powersystems have installed and commissioned every type of 11kV switchgear including oil, air, SF6 and vacuum circuit breakers. Once installed each switchboard is tested and commissioned to exacting standards. On sites where switchgear is reaching the end of its design life, Powersystems prides itself in being able to offer replacement solutions and installation with minimal site disruption.

The selection of the correct protection and control scheme is fundamental to the operation of electrical distribution systems under normal and fault conditions.
