VSAT™ is a highly automated analysis tool designed for a comprehensive voltage security assessment using powerflow-based steady-state methods. VSAT includes flexible specification of voltage security criteria and computational features required to assess the voltage performance of power systems. Like TSAT and SSAT, VSAT can be used to calculate security limits under specified criteria, contingencies, and transfer conditions.

TSAT™ is a leading-edge time-domain simulation tool designed for comprehensive assessment of dynamic behavior of power systems. TSAT includes a rich model library, state-of-the-art solvers, useful analysis features, and a highly intuitive user interface. Like VSAT and SSAT, TSAT can be used to calculate transient security limits under specified criteria, contingencies, and transfer conditions.

SSAT™ is a software tool designed for power system analysis with linearized system models. It includes a number of analysis functions, in both frequency- and time-domain. Study tools are provided for addressing specific problems, making it ideal for investigating oscillatory behavior in power systems and for designing and tuning controls to improve system damping. Like VSAT and TSAT, SSAT can be used to calculate small signal security limits under specified criteria, contingencies, and transfer conditions.

DSA Manager provides an environment through which the security assessment modules in can be integrated into the real-time sequence of an energy management system (EMS) to provide on-line DSA capabilities.

OPF-RA is an add-on module for VSAT (Voltage Security Assessment Tool), a powerful tool for voltage stability analysis of power systems. It can help identify measures to alleviate thermal and voltage stability violations of a system under pre- and post-contingency conditions. OPF-RA is fully integrated with VSAT, providing a user-friendly interface and seamless interaction with various VSAT models and data, as well as the relevant VSAT analysis options. The resulting powerflow case with the RA implemented can be directly opened by other DSATools™ modules for further studies.

The CIM Import is an add-on module to PSAT and follows these standards to extract and built powerflow data from Common Information Model (CIM) using XML file format: IEC 61970 (Energy Management), IEC 61968 (Distribution Management), IEC 61968 (Distribution Management).

Harmonics is an add-on module to PSAT that can be used to perform power quality analysis of a power system.
