The RoadStar series of power stacks allows rapid and high performance prototyping of inverters and similar topologies by offering an engineered cold plate, busbar and DC link capacitor in one package. RoadStar options available include three, four and zero semiconductor modules at 580 A, 780 A or 980 A.

The type SM capacitor is a high voltage dielectric device that incorporates the excellent electrical characteristics of a fabricated mica dielectric with a resin impregnation to achieve exceptional reliability at temperatures in excess of 150°C. The standard type SM is housed in a polyester tape wrap with epoxy and seals.

The type RM capacitor is an intermediate high voltage device that incorporates the excellent electrical characteristics of a fixed kraft paper and polyester dielectric with a resin impregnation to achieve exceptional reliability in the smallest possible size. The standard type RM is made with either a non-inductive (extended foil) construction or a multiple tab construction, and is housed in a polyester tape wrap with epoxy end seals.
