Principle Power, together with its partners and customers, has originated and developed several floating wind projects in the Americas, Europe and Asia, ranging from MW-scale to GW-scale, successfully attracting development capital from major sponsors. We offer our capabilities in site selection and optimization, development strategy, infrastructure assessment, project structuring, permitting, and advocacy. We leverage our deep knowledge of floating technology and worldwide ecosystem of strong partnerships to help our partners navigate the complexities of established and nascent offshore wind markets. Principle Power offers a range of development services to help customers build a strong foundation for a successful floating wind project. These services serve as a complement to our core technology and services business.
Feed and Detailed Design Services
Principle Power offers fully integrated design of the WindFloat® floating platform, wind turbine, station keeping system, and inter-array cable systems to manage the significant interdependencies between these elements and the project execution plan. We offer optimized design packages that are to be fabricated, installed, and operated for the design life (typically 25-30 years).
Project Execution Support Services
Floating wind projects are highly complex, requiring a deep understanding of the technology, interfaces, and interdependencies. Principle Power offers supervision and management of project execution phases, from fabrication to offshore commissioning, to ensure that your project is built to specification.
