Micro-CHP System

Today, we are looking for solutions that give us more for less: more information on smaller screens, higher yields from the same acreage, more energy from the same barrel, better performance from the same chip, and increased bandwidth from the same line. In 1905, when Swiss engineer Alfred Büchi invented the turbo charger, his innovation managed to harness more power from the same engine. Qnergy has developed the 21st century turbo engine by integrating into a combined heat and power system (CHP) that takes full advantage of both the electric and thermal outputs of this unique engine.

Remote Power System

The remote power generation market is experiencing tremendous growth, driven by the need to provide reliable, affordable electricity to areas around the globe with little or no existing power distribution infrastructure.

Qnergy PowerGen - Thermal powered Generator

Qnergy`s PowerGen is a thermal-powered generator suitable to meet remote power needs utilizing virtually any combustible gaseous fuel. All Qnergy PowerGen generators feature our patented QB80 Series Stirling Engines. The PowerGen generator provides reliable, affordable electricity to areas around the globe with little or no existing power distribution infrastructure

Qnergy PowerGen - Remote Power Generator

Designed for rugged and remote operation, the PowerGen remote power generator provides reliable electrical power supply to the most demanding and mission-critical loads. Based on Qnergy’s no-maintenance and highly reliable PCK series Stirling engines, the generator package can work seamlessly with a variety of fuel supplies, including: natural gas, propane, ethane, biogas, and multiple associated gas streams. By means of its flexible and modular design, this generator package can be tailored to provide a broad range of power output architectures to meet the electrical requirements of each specific site load.Assembled using lean manufacturing processes, the PowerGen is built to meet strict quality standards. The integrated components and controls are all designed to maximize the customer’s ability to control and monitor their power-generation asset while minimizing servicing of any kind.

Qnergy - Glycol Heat Trace Module for PowerGen

The Glycol HQat TracQ (GHT) feature allows for th9 waste heat from the Stirling engine and it`s exhaust to be used by the customer. A plate heat exchanger is used to separate the engine coolant and the GHT media. The GHT media is circulated using a rotary vane pump on a variable speed motor. The PowerGen monitors the supply and return temperatures of the GHT media and adjusts the units operation to match the heat load and meet the return temperature set point. The GHT feature can be disabled with the use of the winter/summer toggle switch.

Qnergy - Heat Conversion Generators

Qnergy’s PCK series generators incorporate a powerful, robust heat conversion device. This platform couples with any heat source to produce reliable electricity. Heat source examples include: combustible liquid/gaseous fuels, wood/paper fuels, bio fuels, and other sources of high-grade waste heat. Manufactured using proven automotive-style lean processes, the PCK generator is built to meet strict quality standards. It is built using a unique, free piston design. This frictionless design eliminates wear and maintenance, ensuring reliability and continuous operation. The engine’s dedicated controller ensures optimal and autonomous performance as well as providing real time power monitoring. Qnergy has an experienced design and integration team who have partnered with many manufacturers in successfully integrating PCK series Generators into their product lines.
