Carath D concretes are structure-optimized, cement-rich concretes for application temperatures between 1100°C and 1800°C. They are produced from a variety of cements: Portland cement, alumina cement , and high-alumina cement. Carath D concretes are universal concretes for a wide range of applications and are available in various processing grades, including vibrated concrete, cast concrete, and shotcrete. A melt-resistant grade, Carathgun D 1400 Ba, is available for the aluminum industry.
