Building Automation
Building Automation refers to the complete remote control and manipulation of all electrical/electronic based equipments and accessories connected to a dedicated interface unit that is installed within a particular building framework. One of the variants of the SCADA system is the exact similar implication, whereby an interface unit is designed that is capable of handling multiple electrical/electronic accessories connected to it, which can be controlled remotely for the manipulation of the connected equipments. The term "Manipulation" can infer several meanings; switching (turning ON/OFF appliances), controlling (setting temperature, Fan Speed, etc) and/or other parameters. The application of the building automation systems is infinite and if implied with a proper objective, it will prove to become a powerful tool for both commercial and personal purposes.
