This is default cartridge included in Three Electrode Battery Test Cell and other redox.me battery test cells. It is ideal choice when researcher wants to perform reproducible electrochemical measurements of battery and supercapacitor materials under controlled compression in a three-electrode setup. The battery cartridges are exchangeable between cell bases, therefore it is convenient to have multiple cartridges and use one while the other is in cleaning etc. The Battery Cartridge – Three Electrode Setup consists of upper and lower electrode plungers, separator lock ring and reference electrode punch. The (default) electrode plungers are designed for planar electrodes with diameter of 18 mm and total sandwich thickness up to 2.5 mm. The diameter of separator shall be at least 2 mm larger than electrode diameter (max. 22 mm).
