The conference was organised in collaboration with the Swedish BioGenGas innovation cluster and the Horizon Europe project, CarbonNeutralLNG. On the first day there were sessions on biogas and green LPG as part of the BioGenGas innovation cluster and on the second day there was a methanation and liquefaction symposium as part of the CarbonNeutralLNG project, as well as sessions on related technical breakthroughs and innovations.

7th International Conference on Renewable Energy Gas Technology, REGATEC 2020 will take place 20-21 September at Leonardo Hotel in Weimar, in Germany. The conference revolves around renewable methane for G-mobility and/or grid injection, including anaerobic digestion, gasification and Power-to-gas. REGATEC 2020 is organised in cooperation with Thuringian Energy and GreenTech Agency.

COASTAL Biogas revolves around anaerobic co-digestion of cast seaweed and utilisation of the digestate as an organic fertiliser in order to mitigate eutrophication, close the nutrients cycle, produce biogas and fertiliser, create local value chains and eliminate the inconveniences with rotten seaweed on the beaches.

REGATEC 2017 has a technical and industrial focus and is directed towards microbial and thermochemical conversion of biomass and waste to biomethane, Power-to-gas, and biomass gasification for CHP production. REGATEC includes plenary and parallel sessions, a poster session, an exhibition and excellent opportunities to network and find new collaboration and business partners. The latest advances will be presented by leading experts and experiences of unique industrial scale plants will be presented by prominent industrial representatives.
