LED light for nest cover for piglets in farrowing phase. The LED 5W EU is especially designed for mounting on the Rotecna Ni-2. The use of light for the period immediately after birth reduces the time required by the piglets to find the nest and start using it, which significantly reduces mortality due to hypothermia and crushing. Especially recommended when it is important not to increase the temperature of the barn.

Heating plates are used to create a high comfort zone for piglets in farrowing, transition and wean to finish systems. With an optimum distribution of the temperature on their surface, they are are extremely efficient, because they are made of plastic and therefore do not transmit heat to the atmosphere, and accumulate the heat produced by the piglets, insulating them in a very effective way, even after they have been turned off.  Their smooth, comfortable surface has a special anti-slip finish.
