Patented Multi-Outlet Diffuser: Improving Fuel Pipe and Air to Fuel Ratios
SAS Global has learned through extensive modeling, field research, and testing that to correct fuel pipe imbalance the problem must be dealt with at the source – as the coal exits the pulverizer. SAS has developed the Multi-Outlet Diffuser to deal with this challenge. The SAS Multi-Outlet Diffuser system mixes the pulverized coal and air into a homogeneous mixture as it exits the upper turret and enters the individual fuel pipes. A significant improvement in air to fuel ratio between all the fuel piping now allows for the proper usage of an orificing system, if needed, to match the fuel pipe velocities. The SAS Multi-Outlet Diffuser is designed to work on all types of pressurized mills with outlet chambers, including Foster Wheeler, MPS Pulverizers, Riley Ball Mills, EL Mills, and all CE Mills (or equivalent brand).
Patented CV-Style Adjustable Fuel Pipe Orifice
CV-Style Adjustable Orifice gives you the ability to fine tune your system balance as part of a complete balancing program. The unique Center V shape of the orifice provides a very smooth restriction curve not found in any other adjustable orifice. Unlike other adjustable orifices, the SAS CV-Style will never jam due to coal impaction. Its design ensures there are no areas where coal build-up can occur. The SAS CV-Style Orifice will remain adjustable, no matter how long they’ve been in use. The CV-Style Adjustable Orifice is available with both a manual gear box adjustment or manual handle adjustment. Also engineered to fit within existing line blank spools, for a very quick plug and play installation.
