Turbine rotor overhaul is one of the many services offered through Schmidt Industries` team of experienced turbine engineers. Our qualified, turbine rotor specialists are capable of disassembling, balancing, and repairing any section with a minimal amount of down time.

Schmidt Industries offers customers an organized response in the event of operational issues. Contract engineers serve as qualified contacts to provide immediate technical assistance and know-how. As part of our long-term service agreements, we provide spare component parts, parts repair services, technical support, OEM-qualified engineers, contract management and support, and troubleshooting, logistical support. We work closely with many of our customers to provide routine repairs as well as immediate services.

Schmidt Industries employs a team of highly qualified, skilled engineers to assess and improve mechanical, control, and instrumentation-related turbine functioning. Our team of dedicated professionals regularly works with our customers in providing expertise during both scheduled and unscheduled outages.

We routinely manufacture, according to OEM specifications, replacement turbine components for virtually every moving and non-moving part within a steam, gas, hydro or nuclear turbine. Our machining capacity is suited to meet every possible customer requirement and every single one of our machines—including our CNCs—are made in the U.S.A. Our facility processes include: Milling, turning, grinding, slotting, 60-ton lift capacity, vertical boring (14’5” capacity), cnc horizontal boring (12” dia. x 40’ capacity), edm, tig, mig, and arc welding.
