Automatic Transfer Switches - SGQ Series

SmartGen - Automatic Transfer Switch for High Voltage Applications

The SmartGen SGQ1000A-4P Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) is designed for power applications with an operation voltage not exceeding 660VAC and capable of transferring loads. The ATS series offers rated currents ranging from 40A to 2000A, distributed across 3-pole and 4-pole configurations. Specifically, the series SGQ1000A-4P features 'M' type classification, suitable for loads up to 2000A. This switch operates under electromagnetism drive structure in a two-stage PC class type, supporting fast load transfer with transfer times of ≤80ms. Its functionality spans a range of environments including high-rise buildings, telecommunications, coal mines, marine settings, industrial plants, healthcare facilities, and military installations. The switch uses a magnet coil driving structure with interlocking mechanical and electrical features, ensuring there is no short-circuit occurrence. The major loop contact terminal uses a 'V' design, and the coil energizes only during transfer, significantly extending the switch's lifespan. The control power of the coil comes from a priority AC/DC power source, eliminating the need for additional control power. Indicators for electrical and mechanical status, along with NO/NC voltage-free auxiliary contacts, enhance operational efficiency and safety.

SmartGen - Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS)

The SmartGen SGQ125A-4P Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) is engineered for applications where the operation voltage is up to 660VAC, enabling on-load transfer capabilities. This ATS covers a rated current series ranging from 40A to 2000A, and includes variations with 3 or 4 poles. The 40A-125A models are categorized as 'N' type, 160A-400A as 'T' type, and 630A-2000A as 'M' type. The SGQ ATS operates within a range of AC660V 50/60HZ to DC250V and deploys an electromagnetism drive structure combined with a two-stage PC class. Known for its swift load transfer capability (≤80ms), the SGQ ATS is broadly applicable in infrastructures such as high-rise buildings, telecommunications, coal mines, industrial sectors, healthcare, and military installations. It's compatible with various power sources including grid, auto-start gensets, and storage batteries. The unit features a magnet coil driving structure with electric and mechanical interlocking, consisting of one dynamic and two static contacts to prevent short-circuiting of dual power supplies. Different coil operations are employed based on the model type, enhancing the longevity of the switch. Control power for the coil is derived from the AC/DC power supply, eliminating the need for an additional control power source. Additionally, the ATS includes electrical and mechanical close indicators, as well as two-way NO/NC voltage-free auxiliary contacts.
