SolarPathfinder Assistant Base Software
Basic Features: Computes monthly sunpaths for specific latitude, Contains World weather data (WMO/NREL), Enhanced exports capabilities (.pdf, .csv, jpg, etc.), Imports into other software, Computes Optimal Orientation for given shading, Maintains Report Health Diagnostics, Uses English or Metric Units, Generates fully customizable reports (use your business name/logo, etc)
PV Studio 2 Software
The new PV Studio design software from The SolarPathfinder Company is a valuable tool for installers. It allows customers to create advanced PV reports. This program will allow the installers to minimize the time involved in designing a system and maximize the output production of their system. With this program the user can design the shape of the roof, select their inverters and panels, and arrange the panels all on one page. At the job site, instead of walking around on the roof to determine the best location for the panels to be placed, simply take a photo at every corner of the roof. Once these photos have been loaded into the software, the user will be able to see a heat map displayed. This will let the user know the shading percentages for each location on the roof, and therefore determine which location would provide the maximum output for the array.
Assistant PV Software
Any scientific analysis requires accurate input and careful calculations. The Solar Pathfinder and Assistant PV Software provide mathematical precision for accurate shading assessment (solar site analysis) by eliminating gross errors in structure orientation, solar system sizing, and PV/collector placement. The Assistant PV software dovetails local weather data (using NREL/WMO) and site-specific shade analysis in a customizable report. Originally furnished for the ecological and photovoltaic applications, the Assistant software now services the growing thermal technologies. Regardless of the industry being serviced, the software identifies the shading patterns and total potential energy produced at any given site. The Assistant PV software is a fast, accurate, and proven way to create a data-rich report for solar rebate programs. Check out the System Requirements.
Thermal Assistant Software
Any scientific analysis requires accurate input and careful calculations. The Solar Pathfinder and Assistant provide mathematical precision for accurate shading assessment (solar site analysis) by eliminating gross errors in structure orientation, solar system sizing, and PV/collector placement. The Solar Pathfinder Assistant software dovetails local weather data (using NREL/WMO) and site-specific shade analysis in a customizable report. Originally furnished for the ecological and photovoltaic applications, the Assistant software now services the growing thermal technologies. The Thermal Assistant allows the user to input all the necessary information in order to determine the potential hot water supply for their system such as tilt angle of collectors, collector orientation, daily hot water load per month, tank size, tank temperature and supply water temperature.
