One of the largest solar parks in Great Britain has sprung up on Mingay Farm in Cambridgeshire. The British company Solarcentury installed the 14 hectare park with an output of five megawatts.

On 1 April, at its headquarters in Biel , the Swiss inverter manufacturer Sputnik Engineering AG will launch a new subsidiary, Sputnik Engineering International AG. In future, the new subsidiary will be responsible for sales, service and customer advisory services in all those countries which do not yet have a Sputnik branch location. This does not impact the work of already existing subsidiaries in Germany, Spain, Italy and France.

The Slovenian wholesaler Sonel has built the largest PV plant equipped with SolarMax inverter in the northern Slovenian town of Gornji Petrovci. With a total capacity of 81 kilowatts the free-standing system is also the largest in the region Prekmurje. In spring, Sonel and Sputnik Engineering will officially inaugurate the plant. The Swiss inverter manufacturer Sputnik Engineering has commissioned its largest PV plant to date in Germany in the town of Gerwisch near Magdeburg. With a total capacity of 8.6 megawatts the system is also the largest in the region.
