Stercom - 22 kW OnBoard Charger
Our ultra compact OnBoard Charger OBC_22kW is compatible with all single or three-phase AC charging stations and Type 2 wall-boxes. The optimized and adaptable charging process gently charges all common high-voltage batteries in various voltage classes up to 850VDC. By using the latest silicon carbide semiconductors, we set the standards in terms of efficiency, volume and weight. For very large batteries, the charging power can be scaled by connecting several OBC_22kW in parallel using different parallel modes.
Stercom - String Power Booster
In DC coupled systems, different energy sources like batteries, fuel cells, UltraCaps, photovoltaic panelse tc are connected via a common DC intermediate circuit. Because of the different voltage levels, "DC / DC Buck Boost converters" must actively connect such loads to a constant DC link voltage. Stercom`s String Power Booster SPB_30kW allows simple system configuration and a fast regulation using the bidirectional fast voltage drop mode control. The SPB is available as 30KW / 100A performance class and allows input / output voltages of up to 1000V. The SPB power can be scaled up to approx. 120kW through parallel connection. Since the SPB is preferably used to connect battery and UltraCap strings, we have also integrated two-pole DC isolators, fuses and a string management controller in our SPB_30kW. The SPB is available as a 19 “module with 4U or as a Mobile Box IP67.
Stercom - High Power Charging Station
In wireless power transfer (WPT), electrical energy is transmitted inductively, means without contact, from a stationary magnet coil to a receiver coil for example in a vehicle. Depending on the transmission power energy storage can be charged quickly in electrically powered vehicles during a parking process. Such charging systems are used where environmental conditions do not allow contacting or classic plug-in system are too cumbersome. Thanks to the latest SiC switching technology and special coil design, Stercom`s 22kW Inductive Charge Inverter (ICI) achieves a transmission efficiency of up to 94% even with large air gaps up to 20cm. Stercom WPT complies with the standard DIN / IEC / TS 61980-3

Stercom - Battery Management System for Mobile Applications
Our Battery Management System is specifically designed for on- and off highway vehicles with large high voltage batteries. We use Dynamic Cell Balancing (DCB) and String Management for precise monitoring and extendend cycle life of all common cell chemistries and topologies. Our mobile BMS is designed to meet functional safety requirements according to DIN EN 61508 and ISO 26262.
Stercom - Battery Management System for Industrial Battery Storage
The Stercom Battery Management (BMS) consists of the “Dynamic Cell Balancing” (DCB) boards integrated in the battery module and the higher-level String Management Units (SMU). With large battery stacks, each SMU evaluates up to 32 DCB series or parallel modules, organizes the optimal balancing strategy, controls and monitors the protective components such as fuses, DC isolators, pre-charging or insulation monitoring and communicates with the higher-level energy or charging management.
