At Stiebel Eltron, our goal is to provide energy efficiency in addition to comfort. Our heat pump water heaters are designed from the ground up to rely on the heat pump, not on the back-up element because that is the most efficient way. Our “50-gallon” heat pump water heater is actually 58 gallons and our 80-gallon model is, well, 80 gallons, because large is the best for a heat pump water heater. Large capacity means the water you are using, as much as possible, was heated the most efficient way — with the heat pump.

Stiebel Eltron has been designing solar thermal systems for 40 years. Because every installation is different, we have a full line of SOLkits, mounting hardware, and the individual components necessary for solar thermal installations. We are committed to making and supplying the best solar thermal components available. We’ve been at the forefront of water heating technology for almost 90 years. As a leader in the field we have no intention of standing still.

All Stiebel Eltron SBB/SB-E series tanks are made in our factories in Germany and Slovakia. They can be used in residential or commercial installations as indirectly-fired domestic hot water storage tanks in conjunction with any type of boiler, geothermal, or solar hot water application.
