Sunto - STO (Solar Tracker Optimizer) System

The STO System is engineered to enhance the tracking precision of single-axis solar trackers. Utilizing a meticulous approach, it continuously monitors the tilt of photovoltaic modules, analyses deviation from optimal positions, and computes parameters for tilt correction, ensuring optimal alignment and increased energy output. At its core, the STO System incorporates three primary algorithms: the ephemeris algorithm for tracking the sun's position based on time and geographic coordinates, the shadowing algorithm to address inter-tracker shading effects, and the ground tilt algorithm to adjust for east-west ground tilt variations. These features are vital for improving the performance ratio of PV installations and preventing financial drawbacks from inefficiencies. Tested in large-scale plants like those managed by Enel Green Power, the STO System has consistently raised energy production by 2-5% annually. The system is delivered as a portable unit comprising multiple STO components, an industrial-grade tablet, and essential accessories, all securely housed in a robust, waterproof enclosure.
