Taprogge - High-Performance Cooling Water Debris Filter
Optimised to deliver the highest levels of performance, safety and convenience. The PR-BW 800 is a high-performance backwash filter designed to filter cooling water in power stations and large industrial water systems. It is suitable for volumetric flows of up to 100,000 m³/h and it also safely removes the highest concentrations of macrofouling from cooling water with its exceptional debris discharge capacities. It also effectively protects turbine condensers, heat exchangers and other consumers that are connected downstream from troublesome macrofouling issues.

A compact high-performance filter designed to maximise efficiency. The PR-BW 800, which has been tried and tested in the field for many years, has been developed to include the PR-BW 800-C version. It is designed to handle from low to medium-sized volumetric flows of up to 12,000 m³/h and safely removes a wide range of macrofouling substances from the cooling water flow. Condensers, plate heat exchangers and other loads connected downstream are reliably protected from macrofouling. In addition to their use in power stations, this model series can also be used in various other industrial applications.

The tried-and-tested backwash filter for cooling water and other liquids. The PR-BW 100 is an automatic backwash filter which captures macrofouling and particles from cooling water and other liquids. It is suitable for small and medium volumetric flows of up to 5,000 m³/h and its compact design means it can also be installed in positions where space is restricted. The heat exchanger which is connected downstream and other consumers are reliably protected from contamination. The special versions are even able to combat the most challenging types of contaminants which conventional filter techniques are unable to achieve.

Taprogge - Cooling Water Debris Filter
The PR-BW 100-FC is a filter series designed to fine filter liquids. The filter is based on the successful and superbly designed PR-BW 100 and the particularly efficient “active filter elements”. This means the filter is able to handle volumetric flows of up to approx. 12,000 m³/h. The “active filter elements” are available in a range of 50 to 1,000 microns and are particularly effective against mussel larvae which now have the potential to cause serious problems. The PR-BW 400 can be used for volumetric flows of up to 100,000 m³/h and the system has proven to be a go-to solution all over the world for applications such as cooling water circuits in power stations and nuclear power stations where operational availability and the highest levels of system reliability are top priorities.

This filter concept has been designed to deal with the usual problems that arise in these processes that do not involve special requirements.
