The InVerde e+ module is the first and only clean natural gas engine-driven cogeneration system able to operate within the extremely low levels of regulated pollutants allowed by the distributed generation regulations for 2007 set by the California Air Resources Board (CARB). The InVerde e+ emissions not only meet but exceed the stringent CARB 2007 regulations by utilizing our technology developed under a California Energy Commission (CEC) sponsored research program. InVerde e+ is an improved cogeneration that leaves an even smaller ecological footprint. Each newly designed unit is tested by an industry-standard 15-minute emissions test measuring the levels of both NOx and CO versus time. The measurements are well below the CARB compliance limits, averaging less than 1ppm.

Since their introduction in 1983, our systems have benefited from continuous technical improvements by our engineers. Today, they feature the latest advances in engine, controls, heat recovery, and our Ultera low-emissions technology.

Tecogen’s Tecopack is a pre-engineered, microgrid enabled, “plug-and-play” CHP plant established around Tecogen’s flagship InVerde e+. Tecopacks are available in 250 and 500 kW sizes and use two to four variable speed InVerde e+ modules to achieve the nameplate rating. Several Tecopack containerized solutions can be paired together to reach larger plant sizes (1 MW and beyond). Tecogen also has the ability to package it’s legacy Tecopower induction-based system in a similar manner. The mobile design is intended to deliver a “plug-and-play” solution with simplified mechanical, plumbing and electrical interconnections, decreasing the on-site labor requirements and reducing project schedules.
