Jul. 5-6, 2017 Birmingham

With the global biogas market estimated at £1trn and energy security, climate change and the UN Sustainable Development Goals driving the need to rapidly increase the uptake of biogas, UK AD & Biogas and World Biogas Expo 2017 is the place to come to find out why and how. Taking place on the 5-6 July at the NEC in Birmingham, it will be the show’s seventh consecutive year and will consolidate its position as the #1 global trade show for the biogas industry. This year the show will benefit from its new partnership with the World Biogas Association (WBA) to showcase the global biogas industry at ADBA’s leading event, which last year was attended by participants from over 50 countries.

Returning to the NEC, Birmingham for the seventh time in July 2016, the only tradeshow in the UK dedicated to AD, biogas and bioresources is expanding to include a global outlook. As well as addressing issues critical to the UK, it will also examine business opportunities in established and emerging international AD markets. This year’s show will offer even better value to attendees, with a high-level summit featuring global industry leaders and influencers, detailed streams on operational performance, R&D and bioresources as well as technical sessions and workshops.

UK AD & Biogas is the UK`s only dedicated anaerobic digestion and biogas trade show. With 3,000 visitors from key sectors including farming, food and drink, local authorities, waste management, utilities, transport and more, UK AD & Biogas 2015 provides the perfect platform to network with the who’s who of the industry. The event will also play host to our fourth UK AD & Biogas Industry Awards.

Providing a strategic vision of the industry.

With the general election taking place next year, our sixth ADBA National Conference will provide a strategic vision for the AD industry for 2015-2020. This year’s agenda will pay particular attention to potential changes in the political landscape and how these could affect your business. The AD industry is already making a significant contribution to food waste recycling, farming and the water sector. While industry growth continues to be encouraging, the new government needs to provide the right support to maintain momentum. Decisions on the Feed-in Tariff, Renewable Heat Incentive, Renewable Transport Fuel Obligation and food waste collections will have a critical impact on industry development. As the trade association for the industry, ADBA has designed this conference to prepare you for an important and potentially changeable few years and to ensure the AD industry is appropriately supported.

UK AD & Biogas 2014 will return to the NEC Birmingham 2-3 July 2014. Moving to the bigger hall 3, this is set to be our biggest AD and biogas trade show to date. The UK’s only trade show dedicated exclusively to AD and biogas and attracts a directly interested audience.
