The Tolsma-Grisnich fans are developed and produced in-house and are unique in its kind. The fans are designed to ensure a long life and a high efficiency. Next to the normal AC fans , Tolsma also produces the EC fans. These fans realize less than 20% power consumption than the AC series. At 80% ration on speed, the EC fans realize less than 50% power consumption. The sound level is limited to a minimum. The Tolsma air fans are specially developed for storage of potatoes, onions and carrots.

The Quadro Compact Cooler (QCC) has a high coefficient of performance (COP), is designed to be durable and is available with two cooling capacities: 40 and 60 kW. The large evaporation surface creates the optimum conditions for the product in question and, thus, a high storage efficiency. The QCC can, optionally, be equipped with an internal hatch, so air from the outside can be used for ventilation. The horizontal set-up of the condenser ensures an optimum supply of air during external ventilation.

The GCU (Green Cool Unit) is one of the Tolsma’s own innovations. Achieving optimal storage efficiency was the goal in developing this direct cooling system, so minimal drying-in and energy saving are crucial. The application of advanced compressor technology in combination with an intelligent control system (developed in-house) has made it possible to achieve the highest possible efficiency for the total storage system. The GCU is available with a variety of cooling capacities ranging from 20 to 185 kW. Various other options geared to the special requirements of the product include electronic defrosting of expansion valves. The GCU can be supplied in a weather-proof casing or built into an engine room or container.
