The 4” Pre-Burster Assembly is used to burst the old or damaged 3” pipe while upsizing to a new 4” replacement pipe. The Pre-Burster slips over the cable, and is pulled along in front of the 4” Head Assembly. The Pre-Burster Shell (TT-HEAD-4PRE) has two of the 4” Blades (TT-HEAD-4BLD) that are retained with Flat Screws (TT-FSNR-BA375F).

The 1″ Copper Nut is used when attaching a new 1″ copper line to be pulled in behind the 1″ Water Line Bursting Heads (such as TT-WDGE-1WED). The Copper Flaring Tool (TT-WDGE-CFT) is used to flare the new copper pipe before it is attached to the head using the 1″ Copper Nut. Be sure to put the nut on the new pipe before flaring it! This is a 3/4″ diameter, compact swaged cable by 100 feet long. The end is terminated with a Crosby Open Socket for pulling TRIC products such as the 4″ Quick Lock Head Assembly (TTA-QLHA-4ASM), and he other end of the cable is brazed for use with the 2″ and 3″ Triple-Chuck Heads (TTA-TCHEAD-3ASM). This cable can be pulled with 3/4″ Monolithic Grippers (TTA-GA-34ML/TTA-SGA-34ML) in a TRIC puller.
