We have applied powerful controller area network (CAN) technology to the operating controls of the venerable Vac-Con Combination Machine. Literally all machine functions are controlled by a central controller, which substantially reduces the complexity of the electronic and hydraulic systems. What do we mean by substantially? Well, for example, this new system eliminates 124 wiring connections. Omnibus has 20 plus functions, 8 buttons through 4 wires. And that`s just for starters. This is all very exciting stuff for Vac-Con, but what can Omnibus Control System do for you?.

Vac-Con’s unique 2-engine design uses the chassis engine to drive the vacuum where you really need the power. And the auxiliary engine for the water system delivers continuous, complete water recirculation when you’re in motion or resting. This 2-engine design allows the convenience of truly independent vacuum and water system operation. That means the velocity of each system can be set at the ideal rate for each project. Just one more reason why Vac-Con is truly better by design.
