Steam Boilers
Vapor Circulatic - Watertube Steam Generators
The Circulatic® Watertube Steam Generator is a forced recirculation watertube boiler that uses a drum as a steam separator and a reservoir of water to supply the coils. A recirculating pump draws the water from the drum and forces it through a set of parallel connected coils at the rate of 3 to 4 times the maximum steaming rate. The hot gases envelop the entire tube surface to achieve very high heat transfer rates. The water is then pushed through a steam lance and a series of baffles in the drum where some of the water is flashed into steam and separated. The dry steam is released and the water is recirculated through the coils. The fuel and combustion air is controlled by a linkageless fuel air ratio control that responds to steam pressure. The feedwater is controlled by a water level control system and modulating feedwater valve.
Vapor Modulatic - Watertube Steam Generators
The Modulatic Watertube Steam Generator is a once through watertube boiler with a positive displacement pump to provide a constant supply of feedwater. The burner management system controls the amount of feedwater admitted to the coils by regulating the speed of the pump, based on the steam pressure set point compared to the actual reading. The fuel-air ratio curve changes the amount of fuel and combustion air in direct proportion to the flow of water being sent to the coils. Dry steam is then produced in the steam separator where approximately ninety percent of the water is converted into steam. The water remaining is removed by a steam trap.
Hot Oil-Thermal Fluid Heaters
Vapor - Thermal Fluid Heaters
The HI-R-Temp thermal fluid heater is a forced circulation coil type thermal fluid heater in which fluid circulates through a set of coils. More efficient than helical coil type heaters, the HI-R-Temp® thermal fluid heater coils are parallel connected and have a minimum of seven concentric layers. The pump is sized specific to the flow rate and pressure drop requirements of each application, maintaining the fluid bulk and film temperature properties. Combustion air and fuel are controlled by PID control in response to fluid outlet temperature. The small volume and high fluid velocity allow the HI-R-Temp® thermal fluid heater to respond quickly to changing system output requirements. Vapor Power heaters can be provided with many system accessories that include thermal fluid pump and motor sets, expansion tanks, skid mounted systems, system valves, thermal fluid, and more.
Hot Water Boilers
Vapor - Electric Hot Water Boilers
Vapor Power electric hot water boilers are designed to provide fast, efficient, and economical hot water for heating and process through the use of electric resistance elements. The boiler controls automatically energize/de-energize steps of elements to maintain the desired water temperature. All boilers utilize ASME pressure vessels and all electrical components are UL listed and are wired in accordance with the current National Electrical Code requirements. Each boiler is insulated with 3-1/2″ fiberglass secured to the vessel, and is housed in a heavy-gauge sheet metal cabinet mounted on a full size structural steel base. All Vapor Power resistance style boilers utilize 70 to 75 wpsi Incoloy-sheathed elements configured in conservatively sized circuits to allow for overvoltage conditions as great as 10% without adversely affecting the integrity of circuit components.

Electrode Boilers
Vapor Power’s Electrode boiler creates operating advantages from its unique design which results in a high efficiency, high quality steam boiler. Using electricity as a clean, efficient and easily controlled fuel, all the energy input to the boiler is converted to steam with 99% efficiency. Vapor Power’s electrode generator output is controllable from 0-100%, with neither the limited turndown ratios nor the increasing inefficiency at low output conditions characteristic of fossil-fired boilers. There are no stacks to purchase and there are zero pollutant emissions.
Superheaters
Vapor - Fuel Fired & Electric Heaters
The Vapor Power Superheater is a coil tube design, similar to our steam generators. Saturated steam enters at the inlet of the superheater, passes through a set of coils, and hot combustion gases envelop the entire tube surface to achieve very high heat transfer rates. Superheated steam leaves the superheater at the steam outlet manifold. The fuel and combustion air is controlled by a linkageless fuel air ratio control that responds to steam temperature.
Deaerators
Vapor - Spray Deaerators for Boiler Systems
Vapor Power’s pressurized spray deaerators will reduce the oxygen level to the .005 cc/liter or less and carbon dioxide to zero. A deaerator consists of a pressure vessel in which water and steam are mixed with controlled velocities and the rapid removal of gases results when the liquid is sprayed in thin films and intensely scrubbed by the incoming steam. This raises the water temperature, thereby liberating the dissolved, non-condensable gases; and the water is then considered free from corrosive gases.
