The VMG heat exchangers with embossed plates can be shipped in various sizes and embossments. The fully welded VAU-Bloc heat exchanger is ideally suited for all purposes and environments where common plate heat exchangers don`t meet the mark. Opposed to brazed and gasketed plate heat exchangers mainly used in heating and refrigeration, the VAU-Bloc uses neither copper solder nor gaskets. Therefore the VAU-Bloc can be used at very high temperature or in corrosive media. The VAU-Bloc with its compact dimensions delivers high heat transfer performance and low pressure drop.  Corrosion resistant material – as long as it displays good forming and welding procedures – can be used. The flow-channels can be cleaned by water-, air- and steam-jet as well as chemical agents. As it is divided into several flow paths (cross counter current) the VAU-Bloc can adapt to a diversity of tasks.

All standard brazed plate heat exchanger models are now also available with an anti-corrosion coating. Safe operation when water constituents such as hardness, conductivity, and pH value, are outside the limit range for conventional copper-brazed plate heat exchangers. Resistance to deionized water (fully demineralized water) & sea water. Effective anti-corrosion coating prevents metal ions from being released. Due to the coating the brazed heat exchanger is free of non-ferrous metals and is comparable to a stainless steel heat exchanger. Planning, implementation and operation of the heating systems must be carried out in accordance with the generally recognized rules of technology (in particular EN 12828, heating systems in buildings and VDI guideline 2035, avoiding damage to hot water heating systems).

The hybrid heat exchanger is a special plate heat exchanger covering nearly all industrial applications. It is suitable for chemistry, petro chemistry, sugar-, food- and pharmaindustry, and many more. This heat exchanger unites the conventional tubular-, plate- and spiral heat exchangers and can be made to fit almost all thermal conditions. Furthermore it can also be built as an evaporator or condenser, with the compact construction style (250m 2/m 3) resulting in a low weight. The fully-welded construction has no soldering points or extensive gaskets, therefore strains for the heat exchangers result only from the surrounding environment.
