AC-DC Input Modules
Model AIM - AC Input Front-End Module
AC input filter and rectifier for PFMs in a VIA package. The AIM is an AC front-end module, which interfaces with worldwide AC mains. The AIM product line provides combinations of line rectification, EMI/RFI filtering, transient protection and inrush limiting to provide a non-isolated rectified AC line voltage in rugged, high-density, low-profile packages. When used in conjunction with Vicor DC-DC converters, a universal AC input, high-density, low-profile power supply with outputs from 1 to 95VDC can be realized.
Model VI-200/VI-J00 - Autoranging Rectifier Module
The ARM is an AC front-end module which provides autoranging line rectification and inrush-current limiting. The ARM interfaces directly with worldwide AC mains and may be used with 300VIN VI-200/VI-J00 series DC-DC converters or 300VIN Maxi, Mini and Micro series DC-DC converters to realize an autoranging, high-density, low-profile switching power supply.
DC-DC Isolated Regulated Converters
Model DCM - High Power Converters for All Standard Industry Input Voltages
The DCM ChiP is an isolated, regulated DC-DC converter, operating from an unregulated, wide range input to generate an isolated output. With its high frequency zero voltage switching (ZVS) topology, DCMs consistently deliver high efficiency across their specified input line range. Modular DCM converters used independently or with downstream point of load (PoL) products support efficient power distribution, providing superior power system performance and connectivity from a variety of unregulated power sources to the point of load. Options include a family of DCMs with tighter output voltage regulation. The DCM VIA module provides a higher level of functionality with integrated EMI filtering, tight output voltage regulation and a secondary-referenced control interface.
