Isotape and Intertape tape brands offer a wide range of backings and adhesive systems to meet the current application requirements of the electrical industry. This electrical insulation product line is manufactured under the strictest standards, with performance and reliability in mind. Most of the adhesive tapes carry UL recognition (UL E20780 for Intertape products and UL E315208 and E315249 for Von Roll).

Von Roll has developed a range of ropes, cords, and sleeves for `surge ring` intercoil bracing under the trade name of Isorope (Isocord, Isosleeve). For Resin-Rich applications, the dry cords will have to be impregnated. Alternatively, a stage B banding tape, Poly Glas, can be used.

Assuring optimum quality of main wall insulation requires careful selection of micaceous tape and detailed attention to the way the tape is applied and processed. We offer a complete range of resin-rich (RR) main wall insulation tapes and systems under the name Samicatherm® for both conventional and hydrostatic pressing and Filosam® and Samicaflex® for the overhang areas.

Von Roll is able to supply an extensive range of top-quality tubes made from Samica® papers, which are impregnated with appropriate resin systems in order to meet the characteristics requested for the specific applications. The mica tubes can be supplied varnished or unvarnished. We deliver mica cylinders in a very wide range of diameters and lengths, in standard sizes or tailored to customer specifications.
