WTPS22 is a boiler treatment based on sodium hexametaphosphate, it is used to precipitate calcium hardness as a mobile phosphate sludge. WTPS22 is formulated with polymers and a dispersant that condition and mobilize the resultant phosphate sludge and aid in removal during boiler blow down. WTPS22 delays precipitation of hardness salts in feed lines. It may be injected continuously to feed water containing hardness salts without the formation of excessive scale in the pipe line.
