The ROMEG M 20 G system is a sophisticated laser-based tool designed for dynamic measurements on wind turbines. It utilizes reflectorless laser distance measurements, enabling the detection of aerodynamically triggered imbalances and mass-induced imbalances while the turbine remains operational. This system features two high-performance lasers that are strategically aligned to scan rotor blades at two profile sections as they pass the tower. This allows for precise recording of rotor geometry and tower vibration behavior under real-world operating conditions. Additionally, axial tower vibrations are measured between each rotor blade passage. The collected data is analyzed on-site, with results available immediately. This technology caters to improving rotor balance, enhancing turbine efficiency, and ensuring structural safety by offering a comprehensive analysis of turbine dynamics.
