These buoys are the most popular type in the Zeni Lite range of steel buoys, and offer high performance and long life. They are suitable for lateral and cardinal marking and for special marks, in both open and sheltered conditions.

These buoys are designed to constantly monitor weather conditions and marine climates at fixed points within a port and to collect and analyze long-term data. Most of these buoys are disc-type buoys with a wide deck designed to enable measuring devices to be maintained safely. Spar-type monitoring buoys are used in port waters where heavy maritime traffic causes buoys to rotate and where installation space is limited.
