Zepren - CONDOR Portable Solar Reflectometer
CONDOR is a portable solar reflectometer designed to measure the reflectance of mirrors across six wavelengths with high reliability. The device complies with the ISO9050 and ASTM-G173 standards and features optical channels comprising LED-type light sources paired with photodiodes for detecting reflected radiation in the central wavelength of each LED. It is built to perform consistently outdoors, unaffected by ambient light, making it suitable for use in varying environmental conditions. The device supports the characterization of both flat and curved mirrors with first or second-side reflections and can handle different thicknesses. With fast measurement capabilities and a scanning speed of 20 nm/s, CONDOR optimizes solar field performance by providing critical data necessary for effective cleaning strategies. Its software enables tagging of measurements, easy data export, and self-calibration via a pattern mirror. The hardware boasts long battery life, enabling more than 2000 measurements per charge, and an ergonomic design for error minimization. ZEPREN Solutions manages previous models for calibration and repair under an exclusive license agreement with Aragon Photonics Labs S.L.
