Zuccato Energia - ORC Power Generation Modules
Designed using the most advanced technologies, the ULH-Series energy production modules by Zuccato Energia are a compact, high-performance solution to exploit low temperature heat sources. Available in a range of power outputs from 30 a 50 kWE, and capable of operating under partial load as well (i.e. with a lower than nominal thermal input), they find their optimal application in fields such as heat recovery from engines, gasifiers and other industrial processes, as well as a primary power generation system in the exploitation of geothermal heat and concentration-type thermal solar systems.

LT-Series Modules: The versatile, reliable and safe Low-Temperature for Primary Power Generation and Waste Heat Recovery by Zuccato Energia. Designed using cutting edge-technologies, the LT-Series ORC power generation modules by Zuccato Energia are a compact and efficient solution for small-scale primary power generation. Available with electric power outputs ranging from 75 to 561 kWE, they use overheated water as a vector fluid and find their ideal field of application in association with biomass-fueled boilers, as well as for waste heat recovery from furnaces, ovens and industrial processes in general.

All systems produced by Zuccato Energia are based on the organic Rankine cycle, a high-efficiency thermodynamic cycle that takes its name from its inventor, the Scottish physicist W.J.Macquorn Rankine (1820-1872), one of the fathers of thermodynamics.

Zuccato Energia - 30-KWE, Skid-Mounted, Low-Temperature Organic Rankine Cycle (LT-ORC) Energy Production Module
The structure of the proposed plant is based on the so-called low-temperature organic Rankine cycle (LT-ORC), and may be summed up by the diagram in Figure 1. A heat source [1] generates heat, which is conveyed through a vector fluid circulating into a closed loop to one or more primary heat exchangers, usually a preheater and an evaporator [2], where said heat is transferred from the vector fluid to the working fluid.
