The direct flow principle assures a superior heat transfer from the absorber to the fluid and uniform heat distribution on the absorber surface minimizing the radiation loses.The Savosolar full Al-absorbers are made of Norsk Hydro MPE profiles extruded of the corrosion resistant HyLifeTM Solar alloy. This alloy is approved for solar thermal.New concept in energy harvestingSavosolar direct flow absorbers from Al, Cu, AlSi and polymer for collector manufactures and OEM partners The MEMO solar selective absorber coating consists of 3 thin ceramic layers based on Si, Al, Ti. These layers are deposited by PVD and PECVD technology, in vacuum. The combination of the ceramic layers forms a selective absorber coating with a solar absorbance 96% with low thermal emissivity 5 % in the infrared.MEMO coatings can be exposed in air to several hundred degrees without loosing the optical and mechanical properties surpassing the limitations of most of the competing products today.Savosolar annual coating capacity is 1 million sqm. Complete absorbers, including the headertube, with a size of up to 18 m2 can be coated. This flexible coating technology allows coating of different colors in small batches.
