302 V02 External Shading Fins - Data Sheet

Emtec extruded aluminium fins are used for solar shading of glazed facades. Benefits can include a reduced heat load on the building leading to increased occupant comfort, optimised natural light and a reduction in the whole energy consumption of the building. The aerodynamic profile provides strength and rigidity to allow large spans between supports, and also provides a low resistance to wind. Spacing and angle of the fins can be varied to provide the desired amount of shading. Many mounting and support options exist which can be tailored to suit the needs of each project.
