Building Science

It’s time to rethink the way we build—for people and the planet. This starts with understanding the delicate balance of factors that impact the occupant experience: the building envelope, mechanical systems, the building’s function, and the outside environment.

Our Building Science experts, with input from professionals throughout the industry, constantly study, test, and reimagine our products to uphold our commitment to manufacturing excellence.

Sustainability

Each of our business units has a roadmap to sustainability, and every stage of a product’s lifecycle is considered. We regularly reassess the design, production, and distribution of our products to move closer to zero non-recovered waste. Where possible, we utilize recycled materials, sourcing waste to reduce embodied carbon. Products are designed to save install time, helping reduce the carbon footprint of the construction process. We integrate renewable material to extend product lifespans and, eventually, facilitate recycling or reuse. We work each day toward a circular economy, integrating and, in many cases, initiating eco-innovation principles.
