The biological process in the Bio E-Fuel reactor converts CO2 and hydrogen into methane, which unlike electricity, can be stored, an important advantage. Hydrogen is produced from the electrolysis of water. Our Bio E-Fuel technology can be applied anywhere there is a CO2 source. Biogas plants represent the lowest-hanging fruit because the CO2 flow and the methane production infrastructure are readily available. Biogas typically consists of 55-60% CH4 and 40-45% CO2, and applying our Bio E-Fuel technology enables an increase in biomethane production by up to 78%.
