Ingenia heeft een goed uitgeruste testruimte waarin op kleine schaal biodiesel kan worden gemaakt uit uiteenlopende grondstoffen. Ons werk richt zich met name op het voor-bewerken van de ruwe vetten en oliën en nabewerken biodiesel en het opwerken van bijproducten. Op laboratoriumschaal kunnen wij o.a. de volgende technieken testen:• degumming (o.a. zure, bleekaarde, silica, actieve kool),• winterisatie,• fosfaatverwijdering,• (vacuüm)destillatie,• fysische en chemische FFA verwijdering,• alkalische verestering (met methanol en ethanol),• zure verestering,• opwerking van FFA’s en glycerine,• …Ontwerp, engineering en realisatieIngenia verzorgt het ontwerp, de engineering en de realisatie van raffinaderijen voor oliën en vetten en biodiesel plants met capaciteiten vanaf 5.000 tot 200.000 ton per jaar. Als ingenieursbureau kan Ingenia kan het hele traject van concept tot opstart verzorgen. Vaak is er sprake van co-productie met de opdrachtgevers, contractors of nauwe samen-werking met andere ingenieursbureaus waar-bij Ingenia specialistische expertise levert op het gebied van grondstoffen, voorbewerking, massa- en energiebalansen, procestechnologie, kosten en productkwaliteit.Haalbaarheid en economieOnze quick scans, haalbaarheidsstudies en volledig gedetailleerde exploitatiebegrotingen helpen onze opdrachtgevers om gestruc-tureerd (stap-voor-stap) en doelgericht te komen tot weloverwogen investerings- beslissingen. Wij maken daarbij gebruik van onze actuele en historische marktkennis ten aanzien van grondstofprijzen, investerings-budgetten en exploitatiekosten.De toepassing van plantaardige en dierlijke oliën en vetten voor de productie van biodiesel, is een van de hoofdactiviteiten van Ingenia. Ingenia operates a well equipped test facility that allows the lab scale production of biodiesel from a wide range of raw materi-als. Our efforts concentrate in particular on the pre-treatment of raw materials and the polishing of biodiesel and upgrading of by-products. Frequently we team up with our clients, contractors and other engineering firms, were we provide our core areas of expertise: raw materials pre-treatment, mass and energy balances, process technology, cost engineering and product quality.Feasibility and economyOur quick scans, feasibility studies and detailed cash flow analysis support our customers to take well structured (step-by-step), to the point and sound investment decisions. We use up-to-date and historic market intelligence on raw material costs, capital requirements and operational expenses.The application of vegetable and animal oils and fats for the production of biodiesel, is one of the core technologies of Ingenia.
