www.biogas-weser-ems.de www.biogas-weser-ems.de BWE Newsletter February 2015 AD plant in Coleshill (UK) in operation 4th BWE waste plant to start in the UK: The Coleshill Anaerobic Digestion Facility has been commissioned in January 2015 after a construction time of just 5 months. The 1st MW of electricity was fed into the grid in 2014. Coleshill AD plant processes approx. 160 t of separated waste per day. The plant integrates automatic separation of plastics and package material and has an electrical output of 2.4 MWh. 1 This is already the 4th BWE waste plant in the United Kingdom. Our first constructed plant treating organic solid waste in the UK has been already operating for more than four years. Thanks to a lower loading rate and higher (HRT) Hydraulic Retention Time, BWE waste AD plants offer a load factor of over 97%, compared to a UK average of 67% (according to a report by the Green Investment Bank). 2 www.biogas-weser-ems.de BWE Newsletter February 2015 New partners in Romania and Mexico BWE is happy to announce the expansion of our international presence with two new partnerships in South Europe and in Latin America Our new partners are B-Team Energy Group (Romania) and CEAL Corporative (Mexico). Dr. Helmut Loibl explained the new opportunities highlighted in the German Renewable Energies Act 2014 to more than 100 of our clients, who then enjoyed some food and drinks in a nice atmosphere. It was a great opportunity to introduce BWE´s new services, and to keep our clients up to date as always. During the last 3 months, BWE has participated in Eurotier/Energy Decentral fair in Hannover as well as the Biogas Annual conference prepared by the Professional Association Biogas in Bremen. We were also present in the “AD & Biogas” in Birmingham UK and “Renexpo” in Bucharest Romania. We are happy to welcome you to our stands 3
