Company Profile
Our Goalbiomastec is a competence and innovation cluster that is sponsored and under the auspices of the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi). Its goal is to initiate and oversee innovative market-orientated research and development projects in which new products, technologies and services can be pro-duced for the efficient use of biomass. In order to achieve this goal, a strong and coordinated cross-talk between academia and industry is mandatory. Our VisionBiomass alone covers 70?% of the energy production when all other renewable energy sources are put together. 90?% of heat is produced by biomass from the combustion of wood. Although wind energy still plays a crucial role for the production of electricity, the potential of biomass in this regard is not to be undere-stimated. In the field of fuels, biomass remains the only renewable source. The regional and worldwide available biomass should not only be used energetically but also materially so that platform molecules, bio-based materials et cetera with a high-added value could be produced. This is the vision of biomastec. The cluster sees itself as a strategic marketing and information platform to deliver innovative and efficient solutions for the efficient use of available biomass to enhance and to encourage a bio-based economy not only in Germany and Europe but to the entire world.ContactPlease feel free to contact us for more information about membership in biomastec and acquisition of funds for R&D projects.EurA Consult AGMax-Eyth-Straße 2D-73479 EllwangenAkuma Saningong, PhDMol Biotechnologist (TUM)COO and Innovation ConsultantTelephone: +49 (0)7961 9256-215Mobile: +49 (0)179 6881446Fax: +49 (0)7961 9256-211E-Mail: dr.saningong@euraconsult.deWeb: www.biomastec.comFacebook: BiomassTechnologiesTwitter: BiomassTechnoloSkype: biomastecbiomastecnew BiomassEfficiencyE i n K o m p e t e n z n e t z w e r k d e rEurAc o n s u l t®Renewable Energies – Technologies for the efficient use of BiomassCompetence and Innovation ClusterGedruck auf 100 % RecyclingpapierLayout und Realisierung: CORBEAU werbeagentur · Fotos: EurA Consult AG, Fotolia PartnersPartners in the innovation cluster are predominantly Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), Universities and applied research-orientated institutes not only from Germany, but across Europe and the world at large.Benefits for PartnersPartners shall gain long-term strategic advantages. The working groups are expert fora in which latest relevant basic and applied scientific results are discussed. Moreover, these fora serve as a platform where R&D ideas are generated that will be converted into projects. Members also exchange current technology news and the cooperation with other sister clusters is strived. These groups are:? Biogas? Biofuels? Material Use of Biomass, Wood and Carbon Dioxide? Energetic Use of Biomass – Thermal Conversion Processes? BioanalyticsThe utilisation of waste heat generated during these biochemical and thermochemical processes shall also be a focus in the deliberations during the group meetings. Further proposals for more working groups are welcome any time.Inaugural ceremony of biomastec on 8th December 2011Working group meeting „Material use of biomass“
