tool

two

panels,
providing
real--time
data

local
operating
conditions

performance

system
is
self--contained,
fully
automated,
records
and
analyses
several
parameters
for
precise
solar
energy
conversion
efficiency
measurements
–
additionally,
the
Test
Bench
can
directly
compare
MT--Power
panels
side--by--side
with
a
wide
variety
of
traditional
solar
thermal
collectors
between
1
and
2
m2
in
size.
A
Fully
Automated
Experience
Once
the
Test
Bench
is
set
up
at
a
client
site,
the
system
automatically
calibrates
itself
and
begins
testing
the
attached
panels
within
a
four--step
process:
At
any
stage
data
can
be
viewed
in
real--time
via
the
software
provided,
and
visualized
remotely
through
a
secure
Web
interface
–
this
allows
for
easy
system
monitoring
and
flexible
control.

The
Test
Bench

built
according

practices
for
solar
thermal
efficiency
measurement.
A
Heat
Transfer
Fluid
(HTF)
is
circulated
in
a
closed
loop
at
a
known
flow
rate
and
at
variable
temperatures,
while
heat
gains
and
solar
input
are
measured.

Bench
can
be
ordered
also
in
an
extended
version
holding
up
to
four
MT--Power
panels
(or

products
of

dimensions).
A

using
pressurized
water
(up
to
16
bar)
as
HTF
exists

Desktop

equivalent

The
LabView™--based
control
interface

yet

operation

visualized
via

Web
interface

any
compatible

Historical

stored
locally

transferred
remotely
via

Software
Package
Test
