Since 1991, Hypower has built partnerships with some of the top construction management firms in the United States. We rank as one of the largest Full Service, State Licensed Electrical, General, and Utility Contractors in Florida.

Hypower currently employs over 400 dedicated professionals. The diversity of our workforce brings unique skills, perspectives, and strength to Hypower. We are licensed to operate in 28 states nationwide. The main office is located in Fort Lauderdale with a satellite office in Pompano Beach that houses the company’s outside plant power and communications utility divisions. Recently our Telecom Engineering group expanded operations with an office in Pennsylvania.

Hypower is comprised of several divisions that focus on commercial electrical, new construction, renovation, service, and repair in South Florida; outside plant power and communications, telecom engineering, airfield lighting, ground mount solar and prime electrical infrastructure projects nationwide, as well as service and repair in South Florida.
Over the past twenty-seven years, Hypower has successfully completed over one thousand projects valued at over one billion dollars acting as the Prime Contractor or Subcontractor for a multitude of municipalities, government and private owners throughout the United States.

The firm has grown to become one of Florida’s largest and most reputable specialty contractors, consistently ranked in TOP 10 among ENR’s Top 600 Specialty Contractors in the Southeast US. In May 2017, Hypower was named Business of The Year by the South Florida Business Journal.
